"I make people disappear and now we’re the ones who need to vanish.” - Sean
Relationships can work if they begin with lies, can't they? Big, fat lies told by a man with the perfect... everything.
And because of his “everything”, I can’t stay away from him. Despite the secrets he’s kept and the lies he’s told, I don’t have a choice but to trust him.
Otherwise, with a fifty-million dollar target on my back, I just dug my own grave.
Besides, I have a few secrets of my own ...
Note Intended for mature audience only. Perfectly Seduced can be read as a stand alone novel however the author recommends reading its prequel, Perfectly Equipped.

I loved the first book in the series but this one felt a little repetitive, conversations kept being repeated without much forward momentum. I had a hard time reconciling the cautious, analytical April with the flighty April who ignored huge lies. Important revelations between the couple were doled out slowly, a truth or two here and then we'll talk more later. A few kisses and she was totally distracted. By the time her secret was revealed I just didn't care anymore and I only kept reading to find out more detail about Sean's secret and his backstory. His backstory was glossed over but I do know he constantly wanted to be "inside" April since he seemed to say that every few pages.Product details

Perfectly Seduced edition by Lacey Silks Romance eBooks Reviews
The storyline was fast paced and smooth. It kept me intrigued from the first page all the way to the end. I adored the characters. The interaction between both the main characters and the secondary characters was wonderful and at times comical. The main character interaction was hot. I can't wait for Millie's book next! I really want to know what the heck happened between her and Dave!
The story starts out on a nude beach in Hawaii. April meets Sean and they tear it up. Then they're separated. She's a widowed mom and he's a single dad who also is a secret bounty hunter/assassin/former FBI and cia dude. She has secrets from her past and she's a suspect. He has to find out if she's guilty. Lots of action in this book. In and out of the bedroom. Many twists appear that shock you. It's a good read.
There were so many things I went WOW to along the way. So many twists and turns. I loved the story. The off the charts chemistry between Sean & April. His obvious love for Charlie. The parents are so special too. I wanted to kill her ex. He was just so evil. I don't want to give the story away. You just need to read it and find out what happens. Lacey rocks it again. I did get this book as an arc for an honest review. I also bought the book to support Lacey. I want her to be able to keep writing amazing series. Please check out her other stories.
This was definitely a fun story of mystery, trust and love. Can April trust Sean he is not telling her about his self. Can she drop her guard and trust this man? Lacey Silks wrote a story with suspense that I could not put it down. Besides the suspense there was a lot of hot and steamy sex. Lacey Silks can write from both male and female points of view that are both believable. If you enjoy a little suspense and mystery mixed with a lot of sex, then I believe it is worth reading. I can't wait to start Perfectly Kissed.
Weak characters, and and unbelievable plot left me disappointed. Not only is the woman highly educated, but also a member of the police with two brothers who are officers. Yet she is sleeping with, and trusts a man who is basically a hit man. Give me a break. While I love some good hot sex it seemed more thrown in all over the place just to get the sex in the book. I don't care how attracted you are to someone, you don't have that much sex in those many inappropriate places. Just wasn't believable, and never a real connection to the characters.
We met April at a nude beach resort in Hawaii in Perfectly Equipped, where she met Sean (aka the Perfectly Equipped one). But April hasn't seen or heard from him and is feeling down. She and her friend Millie are trying to come up with a way to find out Sean's name from the hotel in Hawaii. So imagine April's surprise when she walk's into her son's school and sees Sean as his teacher! She begins to be a little suspicious. BTW, we, as readers, do too. There's a ton of mystery, suspense, coverup, lies, and suspicion. But also fun, good times, sexy times, and family times. Sean has a daughter and mother that he takes April and he son to meet and he lives in a mansion...on a teacher's salary? April is worried than Sean is not who he says he is, but he asks for her trust. April is concerned for her son and asks her police officer brother to check Sean out. Red flags go up all over the country, the government and wow, we are all wondering what the hell is going on...so you need to read to find out. Sean is a way too sexy Alpha male that wants badly to take care of April and April is a strong independent women who is not sure what she needs. Great story!!!
Perfectly Seduced by Lacey Silks picks up two weeks after April's return from her wild vacation in Hawaii, where she met Sean (see Perfectly Equipped). April is a smart forensic pathologist who is at the top of her profession. She is also a widow with a seven year old son. Since her arrival home, she has been wondering if Sean (with no last name) will find her as he promised. What she doesn't know is that Sean already knows who she is and where she lives. He knew who she was when he “met” her and now he is watching and waiting until he can step back into her life.
I liked April when I met her in the introductory novella, but I was not sure I really liked Sean and that he wasn't a bad, bad dude with a deadly agenda. As the book progressed, and the POV switched back and forth between Sean and April, he won me over just as he won over April and her son Parker. By the end of the book, with all its cloak and dagger twists and turns, I was cheering for Sean and April to find their HEA. I also appreciated the author adding an epilogue so the novel felt complete. I also really like the book cover.
